I seriously want to know when all these reality TV shows are going to go the way of the buffalo. they are starting to get seriously annoying. there is only one setting i belive this type of programming belongs in, and thats on the internet. The internet is perfect because it is truely the last setting of free expression. but these shows don’t belong on TV, it is a pretty lame concept to begin with, but you need ratings to get advertising for sponsorship to put things on tv, so these shows are getting more and more outlandish. I mean look what we have now called “reality tv”. We have Survivor, which is stupidly hyped up by making the people do stupid stunts. We have Temptation Island, which is just WRONG. Its concept it “lets destroy perfectly fine marriages. and i find that sick. Then we have The Mole, another show based around exalting one of humanity’s vices, this one being distrust. its a show designed to make people paranoid. and of course we now have Boot Camp, and i just want to know what the hell they were smoking when they dreamed this concept up, and how they think they can file it under the heading of “reality tv” there is nothing real about it. come on, ITS FUCKING BOOT CAMP!!!! So in closing stop with the reality tv shows. they aren’t even “reality”, and all they seem to be doing is advocating the negative aspects of our culture. kids watch these shows (yes they do, we all know parents shouldn’t let their kids watch them, but in fact the kids do watch them) and kids will imitate what they see on TV, is THIS really what we ant them imitating?? think about it people
